Full Stack Python Developer (m/f/d) - Remote

As a Full Stack Python Developer (m/f/d) you’ll work on automating business processes at Tatweer. You’ll work on multiple (small) projects simultaneously and have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with new frameworks.

About us: Tatweer is a young startup based in Amman, Jordan with the vision to accelerate the GDP growth of developing countries by enabling young engineers to get the technical training and practical experience they need to innovate. We start in the MENA-region and aim to reach all developing economies. We achieve this based on these three pillars:

  • Placing young talents remotely at companies outside the MENA-region
  • Leading and delivering projects for entities outside the MENA-region
  • Investing in (AI) research & development

Your qualifications:

  • Ongoing study or degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or equivalent education
  • Experience with object-oriented programming in python and javascript. Preferably for more than one year
  • Experience with the client–server model no matter with which framework (Although FastAPI/Flask are preferred)
  • Experience with git
  • Resourceful, highly organized and fast learning
  • Curiosity to research new ideas and solutions

Nice to have:

  • Experience with C++ and java object-oriented programming
  • Experience with one or more of the frameworks: tensorflow, docker, pytorch, jenkins, airflow, pandas, opencv, numpy, react, spring, zenml, kubernetes, camunda
  • Experience with a project management software (ideally Jira)

Your tasks:

  • Work on optimizing our business processes by developing automation pipelines
  • Researching public open-source repositories for new business solutions
  • Possibly training basic AI models using known frameworks
  • Work on developing and maintaining our website
